Report on Land Acknowledgement for the City of Richmond Hill

Description:

In May of 2022, the Shared Path Consultation Initiative (SPCI or Shared Path) was contacted by the City of Richmond Hill with a request to undertake engagements, gather feedback, and finalize a Land Acknowledgement text. An agreement was reached, and a contract signed in June of 2022. The final report was submitted to Richmond Hill on March 7, 2023 and was unanimously adopted by city council on March 29, 2023.
